the development of rural church

Rural church, how to develop? Raise up your hands to pray for that.
The development of rural church is similar to be the top of the bottle. This is a real fact. As an evangelist, this fact is around of my brain. Rural  situation has decided that the church can’t go back, however, finding a opportunity in the dangerous situation.
Chinese economic is so unbalanceable that most resources and qualified personnel are crowded the cities. Rural population has changed . Most of them are formed as left-behind children and empty nesters. The church is so tiny and it’s dispersal. Believers is uneducated. It’s not easy to continue to expend church. A big problem is that their views is not mutual so that a lot of excellent
evangelists can’t make living by Gospel. So a lot of talents lost. We can’t blame evangelists love the world and their faith. If we lost these resources in the primeval city. It will be a large loss.
Pastor Rick Warren definite the vision, he said the vision is that we can see chance and abilities from the difficulties. Face rural church, giving partial teaching is not a good way to take. We can’t tell them that they do odds-job is not loving God, this is pressure for evangelists. The church should take initiatively to guide and arrange, change the direction of ministry, support and help evangelists, if we don’t have excellent evangelists how to shepherd the church, this is a vital problem. As for city church,we can take it after this, God will give us wisdom.
Every change of church is painful. But it’s worthy, it has abundant reward. Doing a little analysis through my serving experience.
There are 6 people In this church, there are hundreds of churches, they across 5 cities. The church look like group(10-50 people), coworkers are shepherd by turn. The offering is so not enough. The development is not fast. The relationship of coworkers are upset. And the spiritual situation is not good.
The first: the leader of church should guide and help initiatively  for rural evangelists who come into city.
We don’t find they having to looking for jobs and making living until they left their serving position, that is a big loss. Church can arrange well initiatively, city is at the gate, and working in the city is easy, and it’s much convenience to go to rural church and Shepherd . If we can arrange these gift coworkers  make living in the cities and they can explore church meanwhile. And in the city they have small scale church, it has Foothold basis. Or some coworkers can live in a same city, they can work and tell the gospel. Serval people can be a small church ,then they can develop . Through it’s copy view. But it’s better than nothing. Either they can live in different cities or they can live in same city, they can develop independence. More important is deciding by the situation.
The second: arrange steady fellowship time
How to help coworkers to be gathering in different cities, through  it’s scattered, it’s not messy, through it’s scattered, it’s the same heart, it’s not easy , we need make a lot of plans in advance. We can make a plan to have a coworker meeting, once a month or once two month, more important is all of the coworkers can attend. Non-attendance.  In a church of one coworker to gather. Every time we change different cities by turns. We can share coworkers’ fruits and give some good advance.
Coworker meeting 1, share the results and difficulties
                                   2, coworkers can pray and encourage each other.
                                   3, arrange living allowance.
                                   4. About next month arrangement of ministry
                                   5. Coworkers must charge and  learn, we can invite speaker or Search the scriptures by ourselves.
This is a precious chance to meet, and we have a vital goal.  We can keep good relationship and same goal. It requires a open circumstance. Coworkers should spend more time to communicate,  because communication is not smooth, there are some misunderstanding . Actually every coworker have true love for God and sacrifice self, if we can have a relax talking and communication , we can remedy the breach. And work hard to thrive gospel.
More over, leaders should give authority to coworkers as their gifts. From patriarchy to parliamentarism, all are old coworkers, everyone has their mature views, leaders don’t need to worry about disobedience , leaders must know affiliation, avoid excessive interference and understand coworkers’ just demands, and give them guidance . Leaders’ role changed from patriarchy to helmsman.
The third: the steady of rural church
The steady of rural church  is spindle, as a backstop of city ministry.
Let key believers take charge of Sunday worship,strengthen monthly appointment, evangelists  take charge of make appointment with main leader, another time focus on city ministry. Our appointment think highly of transferring vision ,sharing achievements, and increasing the relationship and get prayer support. Otherwise, we can invite good pastors to lead training spiritual meeting. More important thing is that making coworkers’ relationship be strong and strength the relationship among key believers, and encourage the host families.
The fouth: To strengthen the discipline
This is a key step for church growing, and it’s very important. Anyone must obey this standard, no rules we can’t become a team, only rules we can know what’s wrong or right. To  keep fair when we made decision. In order to avoid secession, rules are so important for us . Offerings can be used  reasonably, don’t give Satan any chance.
